LMA: A School of Cosmetology.
Literally meaning the study and application of beauty treatment, 'cosmetology' can encompass a range of services, including hair, skin, cosmetics, nails and electrolysis. Although it is a phrase used more prevalently in the United States we are happy to refer to the LMA as a school of cosmetology as our students will gain knowledge in various disciplines which sit under the cosmetology umbrella:

* make up artistry
* hair styling
* fashion
* beauty and special effects make up
* nails
* eyebrows, eyelash extensions

Because we are also concerned with ensuring our students leave the academy with *all* the skills they need to be a make up artist and a successful business manager we include seminars and lectures on the following additional subjects:

* airbrushing
* business management
* self promotion

Finally, once the students graduate from our 'school of cosmetology' they will be granted entry to our London-based Makeup Artists agency.
